Find What You're Looking For At Very Easy Boating...
We live in Iowa and most houses have an external air conditioning unit and the furnace outlet vents on the side of the house usually side by side.
My question is: Is it safe to park a boat right next to these?
If those vents are low they pose no danger to you or anything near them. That is not to say you should block them with the boat as they need some space. If there was a danger they would be elevated more or have shielding to keep you from putting things close to them. The a/c unit just needs enough clear space around it so it gets airflow to cool the coil.

You should not put or store any vehicle or personal property outside within 6 ft or closer to something that creates very significant changes in temperature. (Its 32 degrees farhenheit (freezing and you got a grill operating 3 feet from your boat, very bad idea).
That being HVAC unit, Furnance, Fireplace, grill, etc. Rapid changes in temperature or damage from very hot temperatures can cause long term damage to property.

Most important thing to watch out for when parking boat next to house is, make sure when it rains, water does not run off of roof and fill up boat. Can actually ruin interior of boat, and even bend the trailer frame from the weight.
