it says that its a 3/12 hour course.
but i def have been styudying longer than that. it times you on each page so is that how much time all the timed pages are put together? or how long the test is? cause this thing is longggg

This is dilberately done so individuals will not attempt to try to breeze through without studying and take the test over and over again until they pass since they don’t have to pay per test taken.

The exam probably will take most people, about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes to answer. That’s taking into consideration about 35 to 50 questions, for an individual 13 years or older with average intellegence who has never learned this material before.

You must spend the minmum required time or more for each section to properly study and learn this material, there are no shortcuts, no easy way out, you must use their system in order to pass and obtain your boater education ID.

My advice is to break boat education study sessions up into 1 to 2 hour sessions per day, then log out. You can come back and resume where you left off from the last time you logged off the web site.

This is a lot of material to absorb, so its going to take quite a while for you to really remember the information. You must learn and remember very well your state’s boating laws, regulations, boat safety instructions, and other information.

If and when you pass this boat education course, that boat ed ID legally states that you KNOW and comply with all boating laws and regulations you learned in that course for your state. If you are caught violating any of them because you forgot, ignored these laws, or didn’t study about them, there is no defense or excuse. Thus it is in your best interest to properly study this and NOT attempt to cheat, nor blindly retake the test numerous times in hopes of passing.

Sign up, suck it up, and get to studying. You might actually learn something interesting for once.
