This is the 2008 Boat and Trailer Race from Crash A Rama at Columbus Motor Speedway 05/24/08. I am in the green Bronco. I was trying to go faster but something was wrong with the transmission and I couldn’t shift past 2nd. That, coupled with my seat belt breaking, made it pretty difficult for me to win. Maybe next time….

Jet Boat Racings: Get In Shut Up and Hold On!

These race boats racing have speeds in excess of 100+ mph on some of the race courses. Theses jetboats are light and nimble with extreme horsepower. The boats are able to race in water depths sometimes of less than six inches of water. Get In Shut Up and Hold On! was shot in three different states,Oregon,California,and Idaho.It was filmed during the 2006 US Championships. The jet racers usually do most of their own maintaince due to no crews. The teams of racers are made up of a race boat navigator and a driver.

Bass Boat Crash

We were out filming Greg in his boat when he hit the wave behind the boat at the wrong angle and too fast. Boat speed was around 70 mph. Greg’s Life Vest and kill switch SAVED HIS LIFE. He was unconscious for about 10 minutes. As you can see the boat never turned over. Greg suffered a broken collarbone. I’m showing this in hopes that a lot of you Bass Boat Drivers have gotten lazy about putting your Vest on and hooking up your kill switch. All of you have hit a suprise wave from out of nowhere at speeds of 70 mph or more. Don’t let this happen to you.

Wrecked! Jet Boat Racing Nightmare! (Part 1)

While racing a boat in one of Idaho most notorious rivers!! Team Raven’s race boat wrecks. Imagine being trapped under the boat fighting for air as you go through a set a class II rapids under a boat. The navigator was a 4 foot female trying to get away from under the boat. Her life vest was preventing her from reaching the surface. The female navigator was trapped under the boat for an amazing 36 seconds. She eventually made it out from under the boat but not until she went through the class 2 rapids with a boat on top of her.This video will also be seen on CMT’s Country Fried Home Videos.
